SMS and messaging terms

Program name and sender

The program is the Foody Finance Customer Care program, operated by JayBen, LLC. Messages come from (833) 505-1900. Foody Finance is an independent business financing referral service, so texts relate to a request you started with us, never to a third party campaign.

How you give consent

You opt in to text messages in 1 of 3 ways, and each one requires a deliberate action by you:

• Check the SMS consent box on the information request form at /apply and submit the form with your mobile number.
• Tell us on a call that you want updates by text, and that choice is logged on your record.
• Text START or any message to (833) 505-1900 from the mobile number you want us to use.

Consent is never required

Consent to receive automated text messages is not a condition of any purchase, service, consultation, or funding decision. Decline texts and you still get the same free review and the same options by phone or email. We never share or sell your mobile number or text-message consent with anyone for their own marketing.

What we send

Messages are conversational and tied to the request you submitted: document reminders and status updates while our team reviews your request. We do not send promotional blasts, affiliate offers, or third party advertising by text.

Message frequency

Frequency varies with the stage of your request and is typically under 10 messages per request. Conversational replies are sent as needed while your request is open.

Carrier charges and delivery

Message and data rates may apply, and standard rates from your mobile carrier apply to every message sent and received. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and your device, and we cannot guarantee that any single message arrives.

How to stop messages

You control the messages at all times. Use any of these instructions:

• Reply STOP to any message to end all texts from that number. You get 1 final confirmation message and nothing after that.
• STOPALL, END, QUIT, CANCEL, and UNSUBSCRIBE are also honored as opt out keywords.
• Reply HELP for support, or call (833) 505-1900, or email contact@foodyfinance.com.
• Reply START to the same number to opt back in after you have opted out.

What opting out does not stop

Opting out of text messages does not remove you from email and does not close your request. Ask us by email or phone to stop email or phone contact separately, and we will.

Supported carriers

The program is supported on major United States carriers, including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and their affiliated brands and resellers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. The program is available in the United States only.

Privacy and AI handling

Phone calls, website chat, and text conversations may be handled in part by Fanny, our AI assistant, and may be retained for recordkeeping. Message content is used to service your request and is handled under our privacy policy. We share your funding request itself with funding partners, which is a sale or sharing of personal information under state privacy law and can be opted out of through the Do Not Sell or Share link in the footer. No mobile information is shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

Number changes and reassignment

Tell us if you give up, port, or reassign the mobile number on file so we do not message its next holder. We remove numbers promptly on request, and we drop numbers that carriers report as deactivated or reassigned.

Age and authority

You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder of the mobile number, or have the account holder's permission, to enroll that number in the program.
